The Shaaw Brothers

April 14th, 2007

These days it is hard to find bands or musical acts that you can really relate to.  Everything is BLING over here, and CRUMP juice over there.  What happen to music with real words.  Where does a guy like me who works a 9 to 5 and can barely keep enough money to get a decent beer fit in.  The Sh.a.aw Brothers, is a two man crew hailing from South Carolina  with more than enough war stories of jobs, relationships, and friendships gone wrong. You have to understand; after a long day at the job, you got to let loose and that’s one thing that we do.  Ocktane; known for his  urgent delivery, performing along side UNknown; who is nonchalant, and  laid back  is sure to deliver high impact when it comes to doing shows.

We have paid a lot of dues but there is still a lot of work to be done says Ocktane who prefers to be called Ock.  We don’t want to push the people away, we work at this to pull them closer.  We go out into the crowd and rock with everybody.  One of the groups hottest tracks is Just Live; a gem about the beginnings of a group and those left behind; which is one song of many.  Its funny because this was a song for us to remind each other that you gotta let go sometimes and "Just Live."  In performing this song so many people said they could relate so we had to put it on the album.  Besides recording Ocktane and UNknown have been on tour to Miami with V-Stylez and his D.j.Mark da Spark from Detroit and  Vert Clothing. While in Miami we went out to "Board Up Miami;" one of the biggest wake board events around, and took it down with like 7 other bands.  We are down with Vert Clothing & Entertainment so we got to kick it with our extended family Randall (Vandal) Harris, Wes Brisco, Mark Wiekle, and Lewis Shuler; all very talented down to earth dudes.  By the way put those names in youtube and check those guys out they are sick!!!!.  UNknown says, "Club 623 shows mad love to hip hop.  We rocked it in there and the Red Light District."  From Miami we tour continued up to Ft. Myers where V-Stylez shot his video.  All in all it was a blast.  Miami we love you your weed and women and we will be back.  We came back home to get to work on some real food for the people.
