This group; We Are the Fury is a group to be looking for.  Who is We Are The Fury?  The band is from Toledo, Ohio which consist of 5 members; Stephan Lublin, Alan Hoffar, Jeremy Lublin, Chris Hatfield, and Todd Wehrle. They represent POP Punk. There are many bands out of the garage, but few take the label as serious as We Are the Fury.  These 5 men of We Are the Fury still live at home, and practice in their same garages when they come back from months of tour.  As members of We Are the Fury says, "There is nothing like coming home to moms cooking.  Over the years We Are the Fury have been playing locally at clubs, bars, and high school which have secured them devoted following back home in Ohio as well as many other places that they have travel on tour.  One of their homerun hitters was the release of the infectious debut album Venus Out May 22.  WRTF have challenged themselves to kick certain high-charting emo bands out of the limelight.

The Shaaw Brothers

April 14th, 2007

These days it is hard to find bands or musical acts that you can really relate to.  Everything is BLING over here, and CRUMP juice over there.  What happen to music with real words.  Where does a guy like me who works a 9 to 5 and can barely keep enough money to get a decent beer fit in.  The Sh.a.aw Brothers, is a two man crew hailing from South Carolina  with more than enough war stories of jobs, relationships, and friendships gone wrong. You have to understand; after a long day at the job, you got to let loose and that’s one thing that we do.  Ocktane; known for his  urgent delivery, performing along side UNknown; who is nonchalant, and  laid back  is sure to deliver high impact when it comes to doing shows.

We have paid a lot of dues but there is still a lot of work to be done says Ocktane who prefers to be called Ock.  We don’t want to push the people away, we work at this to pull them closer.  We go out into the crowd and rock with everybody.  One of the groups hottest tracks is Just Live; a gem about the beginnings of a group and those left behind; which is one song of many.  Its funny because this was a song for us to remind each other that you gotta let go sometimes and "Just Live."  In performing this song so many people said they could relate so we had to put it on the album.  Besides recording Ocktane and UNknown have been on tour to Miami with V-Stylez and his D.j.Mark da Spark from Detroit and  Vert Clothing. While in Miami we went out to "Board Up Miami;" one of the biggest wake board events around, and took it down with like 7 other bands.  We are down with Vert Clothing & Entertainment so we got to kick it with our extended family Randall (Vandal) Harris, Wes Brisco, Mark Wiekle, and Lewis Shuler; all very talented down to earth dudes.  By the way put those names in youtube and check those guys out they are sick!!!!.  UNknown says, "Club 623 shows mad love to hip hop.  We rocked it in there and the Red Light District."  From Miami we tour continued up to Ft. Myers where V-Stylez shot his video.  All in all it was a blast.  Miami we love you your weed and women and we will be back.  We came back home to get to work on some real food for the people.

While chillin with these guys I felt really comfortable, no superstar aires, just love for great music.  Ock and UNknown make great music together.  Where do you/we fit in? Right here;  visit

TOMMY THE CLOWN & THE HIP HOP DANCERS

Thomas Johnson aka Tommy the Clown; the originator of Clowning/  Krumping; a NEW yet old style of dancing dating back to the beginning of African culture.  Johnson was born in Detroit, yet move to Los Angeles when he was an early teen.  While in LA Johnson found himself in an environment which kept him in and out of trouble, as well as many around him who was trying to survive.  The outcome was 5 years imprisonment.  After getting out of prison Johnson realize that this was not the lifestyle that he’d choose to continue and choose never to return.  Johnson’s determination lead to a job as a typist clerk.  This would be the turning point in his life.  Because of Johnson’s upbeat/ positive personality, a staff member at his job ask him would he be a clown for her child’s birthday, as he saw it as a challenge and took it.  This would be move that lead Thomas Johnson to become Tommy the Clown, which would also lead to Tommy the clown and the HipHop dancers.

Krumping; Clowning

Tommy the Clown incorporating Miming (clown acting) with Hip Hop dancing have not only created a NEW trend in dance, he has also kept kids off the street, and out of trouble.  Krumping is spreading like a wild fire, not ONLY just in LA, or in the USA; It has become a wide wide phenomenon. Thomas Johnson is more then just a actor, or performer,  He is a legacy in the making.  Simply because he created something for more then himself,  but for a people in need…
